Where We Belong

Grab a coffee, bring out some snacks and get comfortable - this I promise, is heartwarming.

No matter how many weddings we have planned - whether they are grand or intimate, it always boils down to that warm fuzzy sensation that we get when we witness one of our very own. There’s an immense high watching our creation come to life; all our shared ideas, the little personal touches, the combination of joyous atmosphere and the smiling faces of family and friends. It truly is the most perfect feeling in the world.

A well-developed palette that is easy to the eye is important. But it means much more when couples take into account and care about arrangements that matter in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for their closest family, friends and even us vendors! We learnt, we laughed and we celebrated with glee as we journeyed with these 2 beautiful persons.

Enjoyed the Heng, Ong, Huat session at their home as Tim came with his cool bunch of Heng Tai’s to pick his radiant bride. Bribes were paid, games were played and there was ample food to consume. All was well at Tam & Only.

We planned so much for them to walk down the aisle at the Garden but God decided to pour showers of heavy blessings upon them. But we were certain it was for the greater good. As she walked down that indoor aisle, sheltered from the storm, it was as if we were meant to be exactly there at the space in that moment together witnessing profound joy at God’s union.

It matters a lot when God is placed at the centre of two lives. To have that higher being in control of things that matter and did not matter and can or cannot be helped. The Pastor during their ceremony uttered these words of wisdom -

'Marriage is high risk. Always be meek, be long suffering and above all, always remember to put on love. Because love is the cement that holds all the virtues together. We will never know whatever life throws at you and we do not know what is given to us under God’s sovereignty - we Live and Let God'

Their festivities continued with a breathtaking reception at Capella’s grand ballroom where guests were greeted by a whole host of lush greens, cream floral arrangements that were greatly accented by beautiful driftwoods that well complemented the perfectly ironed linen.

The highlight of the evening was when Vera and her dad choreographed their epic father daughter dance that kept the energy high! So much fun when you have a cool dad!

As the night unfolded, their family and friends dined, danced and revealed under the enchanting glow of the night.

This day was truly where we belong.
